Slow food for fast lives
Slow-simmered bone & cooking broths and slow-rendered beef tallow: high-quality ingredients, real nutrition, & great taste.

20+hours slow simmered
Some call bone broth meat water. We call it liquid gold.
The difference is time on the stove. Here is how long each one simmers, in our own words from the kitchen notes on our site.
- 2 hours Broth “It only takes two hours to simmer a tasty broth.”
- 4–6 hours Stock “A good stock will simmer for 4–6 hours.”
- 20+ hours Kettle & Fire bone broth “Slow simmered for 20+ hours.”
Broth and stock times are general kitchen guidance from our Broth vs Stock guide. The 20+ hours is how long ours simmers.

Born from a torn ACL
Before Kettle and Fire was born, one of our co-founders, Nick, tore his ACL playing soccer (ouch).
His brother Justin set out to buy a store-bought, high-quality, grass-fed bone broth, since both of their busy schedules didn’t leave much time to make the broth themselves.
No matter how hard Justin looked, the ideal bone broth didn’t exist. So, Nick and Justin decided to create a high-quality bone broth on their terms, which is the recipe we’re proud to offer you today.
What Justin was looking for
- Organic vegetables
- Fresh, never frozen
- Grass-fed
- Slow simmered
- No wasteful, clunky packaging

Customers and experts agree
“Kettle & Fire provides a nourishing, quality bone broth in a delicious and convenient shelf-stable format. I love always knowing that I’ve got great broth on hand, without clogging up my freezer or needing defrosting.”
“I’m a fan of Kettle & Fire’s Bone Broth for several reasons. First, the time (and money) it saves me. I don’t have to spend 20+ hours turning bones into more digestible gelatin, and I don’t have to hunt for a reliable source of grass-fed bones at $10 a pound or more.”
“I’m always recommending bone broth to the athletes I work with. But it’s so time consuming to make. I’m so glad that Kettle and Fire is now making bone broth available nationwide, and I’m even happier it tastes so good!”

“Not all bone broth is created equal, which is why I like Kettle & Fire for my Whole30 community. Made with bones from grass-fed beef and slow roasted.”
“Grass-fed and shelf-stable? Kettle & Fire just made my daily bone broth habit a bit easier. Awesome stuff, guys! I drink bone broth every day and have for a long time. Big believer.”
